Pica faces her biggest fear: the Bird with the Beak Full of Teeth. He appears in the sky. He hovers and dives. He swoops down and picks up goats as well as people. He has deadly claws, ‘works’ for the king and is after Pica. Even her best friends cannot protect her.

Barber Ferdinand & the queen (in the mirror). The barber admires the queen who lives in her palace on the hill. Everyone in the land admires her, everyone except for the Grey Hairy Pig.

The Grey Hairy Pig is Barber Ferdinand’s advertisement animal. He sits in front of the shop with shiny hair, smelling of perfume. One day, he is reminded of the fact that he is a pig. He leaves the shop to live like a pig and meets the queen who feels trapped by the admiration of her people and seeks freedom also.
